Tonali to stay at Brescia?

Brescia reportedly plan to keep Italy starlet Sandro Tonali for another season after their promotion to Serie A.

Brescia returned to the top flight on Wednesday, ending an eight-year absence, and Tuttomercatoweb claims owner Massimo Cellino wants them to be ‘competitive’ next season.

That would entail holding on to Tonali, who contributed to the Rondinelle’s promotion with three goals and seven assists.

The midfielder’s contract also includes the option of an extension until 2022, without the need for any negotiations.

It would come as a blow to the likes of Roma, Milan and Liverpool, all of whom had been linked with the 18-year-old.
