Milan have reportedly decided to keep Sandro Tonali and are ready to complete a permanent transfer from Brescia this summer.

Technical director Paolo Maldini believes the young Italian will be one of the protagonists at Milan in the future and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the club is ready to trigger the option to sign the midfielder.

Tonali arrived on a paid loan last summer worth €10m for Brescia and Milan must add another €25m to sign the 20-year-old on a permanent deal.

The youngster renewed with Brescia until June 2022 before moving to San Siro and has played 25 Serie A games since his arrival.

The newspaper reports the Rossoneri are ready to activate the option to buy the defensive midfielder, capped four times by Italy.
