Tonali, who arrived from Brescia last summer, played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to Napoli on Sunday and couldn’t help the Rossoneri avoid anothe setback in the Scudetto battle.
It was Tonali’s 20th Serie A match this term and he has started 16 of them and admitted he had to adjust to a new system.

“Three years ago, I played in this formation, I remembered some of it,” Tonali told MilanTV. “After three years of 4-3-3 it was a bit difficult at first, but I’m adapting because it’s a train I need to get on.
“Playing with Kessie helps a lot, he understands you and helps you a lot on the pitch.
“He understands the different moments. He’s very intelligent.”
