Fikayo Tomori has completed a permanent move to Milan and thanked his former club Chelsea on social media.

The Rossoneri have secured the player’s services on a permanent €28m deal. Tomori, 23, joined Milan on loan in January and scored one goal in 17 Serie A appearances, becoming a regular starter under Stefano Pioli.

Tomori confirmed his permanent Milan move on social media and thanked Chelsea too.

The English defender joined the Blues’ youth sector in 2005 and made his senior debut in a Premier League clash against Leicester City in 2016.

The Foxes had won the Premier League under Claudio Ranieri that season.

Chelsea wished Tomori the best for his future and the defender replied writing on Twitter: “Thank you for everything.”

The Rossoneri welcomed Tomori back at the club with a video that shows his best plays in a Rossoneri shirt during his first six months at the Stadio San Siro.

The former Chelsea man also wrote an Instagram post to mark his permanent Milan move.

“Since the day I arrived in Milan, I was welcomed with open arms, and now I am here to stay! I’m ready for this new challenge with this GREAT club,” he wrote.

“I can’t wait to see you all soon in the San Siro.”
