Milan have lost just one game out of 21 with Fikayo Tomori on the pitch, conceding less than a goal per game and the former Chelsea defender has been re-named ‘The Wall’ by Italian media.

The England international joined the Serie A giants permanently last summer after a six-month loan at the Stadio Meazza. He is proving to be worth every penny spent for his signature.

As Sky Sport Italia highlighted, Milan have lost just one of the 21 games played by Tomori this season, winning 15. They averaged 0.8 goals conceded in the process, much more than when the former Chelsea man is not on the pitch.

Tomori missed seven games across all competitions this term and the Serie A leaders have lost three of them, winning as many. They also conceded an average of 1.57 goals per match when the 24-year-old was not around. His impressive figures have earned him the nickname of To-muro, literally ‘To-wall.’

The Englishman has settled in on and off the pitch. After the win against Napoli, he spoke to Milan TV in fluent Italian, showing that he already feels at home after just 13 months in Italy.
