The Rossoneri had been hoping to rush the matter through so he’d be available for Saturday’s very difficult Serie A match against Atalanta.

However, it’s too late this evening for him to make the journey, so Tomori should arrive in Milan on Friday morning instead.

The 23-year-old defender would’ve been useful against Atalanta, as Alessio Romagnoli is suspended, with Simon Kjaer not 100 per cent fit either.
