Damiano Tommasi has been eliminated from the FIGC presidential race, leaving Cosimo Sibilia and Gabriele Gravina to battle it out.

Tommasi had already finished last in the first round of votes, but the former Roma midfielder also came bottom in the second and third, putting him out of the running.

However, neither Lega Pro chief Gravina nor amateur League boss Sibilia won the 50 percent needed to be elected in the opening three ballots.

However, neither Lega Pro chief Gravina nor amateur League boss Sibilia won the 50 percent needed to be elected in the opening three ballots.

Consequently, the pair will go head-to-head in a fourth ballot, followed by a count to determine the candidate with the highest number of votes in total.

If no clear winner is obtained, there will be the grounds for a commissioner to be appointed.
