Rafael Toloi admits Atalanta ‘waited so long’ for this historic Champions League moment and identifies the danger men in Young Boys.
It kicks off at 17.45 UK time (16.45 GMT), you can follow the build-up and action as it happens on the LIVEBLOG.
This represents an historic evening for Atalanta, as for the first time they play a Champions League game in front of their fans in Bergamo.
While in the first season they played at San Siro, by the time the Gewiss Stadium was given the all-clear in September 2020, the pandemic had started.
“I am very happy, as we waited so long for this moment,” Toloi told Sky Sport Italia.
“We know how special this competition is for us and our fans. They represent an extra push for us today and we need a great performance in order to win.”
Young Boys are champions of Switzerland and fought back from a goal down to beat 10-man Manchester United in the group opener.
“They are strong, quick and unbeaten in 10 games. There are lots of attacking players and we need to do well defensively, playing with intensity.
“Elia is particularly dangerous and we need to keep a close eye on him. We watched the clips and know the team we are going to be up against.”
