According to reports in France, Juventus have offered a far inferior package for Jean-Clair Todibo compared to the West Ham United bid, but the OGC Nice defender only wants the Old Lady.

It had already been suggested that West Ham made a proposal to sign him on loan with mandatory purchase option for a total of around €36m.

However, the player was not interested, having already agreed personal terms with the Bianconeri and ready to hold out as long as it takes for them.

Todibo heart set on Juventus

Now newspaper Nice-Matin claims that Juve finally made their first formal offer and it is nowhere near the figures provided by West Ham.

It would only be a loan with option to buy rather than an obligation, but also for less money than the Hammers are proposing.

The report states that Nice are just as prepared as Todibo to hold out for more, believing Juventus can make an effort, just as they did to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino for €47m in 2022.

Nice bought Todibo from Barcelona for €8.5m and he is under contract until June 2027.
