Barcelona are only prepared to send Jean-Clair Todibo out on a six-month loan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, but Milan remain favourites.

The defender has long been linked with a move to San Siro in the January transfer window, but the Blaugrana fans were in revolt after reports he would be allowed to move for €20m without a buy-back option.

Instead, La Gazzetta dello Sport claim today that Todibo is only available on a six-month loan.

Milan would not consider this ideal, but could be prepared to accept it, as they are ahead of Monaco, Nice, Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 04, Watford and Benfica in the pecking order.

Another candidate would be Daniele Rugani, as Juventus have slapped a €20-25m price-tag on the Italy international, who would reunite with his former Under-21 teammate Alessio Romagnoli.
