Nice have accepted an offer from West Ham for Jean-Clair Todibo, who is still holding out for a move to Juventus, reports detail.

The Bianconeri are looking to bolster their backline this summer and their primary target was Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori, who now looks destined to move abroad amidst serious interest from Arsenal, forcing the Old Lady to look elsewhere.

Juventus identified Todibo as an exciting option and quickly found an agreement in principle with the defender, who has signed off on a multi-year contract worth €2m net per season plus add-ons linked to his performances.

West Ham offer for Todibo

Footmercato details how Nice have received an offer of €36m plus add-ons from West Ham for Todibo, which they’ve accepted. The 24-year-old hasn’t signed off on the move yet, however, as he prefers the idea of joining Juventus.

The Bianconeri consider the defender’s €40m price tag to be excessive and will try to set up a cheaper deal. First, they’re working on their outgoing market, hoping to shift Matias Soule for at least €30m soon.
