OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo was not included in his club’s pre-season friendly against Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor on Saturday afternoon, while his agent held talks with Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli earlier in the day.

Nice were held to a 2-2 draw in their pre-season run out after goals from Gaetan Laborde and Victor Orakpo, but Todibo was not included in the squad at all.
Similarly, Matias Soule was not involved in Juve’s pre-season test against Nürnberg on Friday, just after it was revealed that Roma had reached an agreement with the Bianconeri for his transfer.
The former Barcelona centre-back has been linked with a move away from Ligue 1 this summer , with Juventus, Manchester United and West Ham United tipped as possible destinations at various stages of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old’s agent was reportedly in Italy on Saturday to hold in-person talks with Juve director Giuntoli.
Recent reports suggest that the player has effectively put West Ham on hold while his representatives sound out the feasibility of a move to Turin.
Sky Sport Italia believe it will take an offer in the region of €37m to convince Nice into selling their star centre-back this summer.
