  1. Napoli were brilliant! But I’ve still not got the Roma excuse’s out of my system. The problem with ego is, it rears it’s ugly head after a humbling. Jose “took responsibility” by passing the buck. To distance himself from a humiliation + to save his precious ego. That’s why he couldn’t admit that he + Roma underestimated Bodo + that it was Roma’s naive approach which cost them. All 5 subs were regular starter’s + were on by the hour mark but as a team they were just as disjointed. The young lads were naive + anxious but some of the more established ones played as if they didn’t even want to be there. Mancini’s pre-match comment’s were telling. Yet Jose put’s the blame on the individual quality of the “reserves?” That kind of reverse psychology might work with seasoned pro’s but it won’t help instill much confidence in the youngster’s! The entire team kept making the same mistake’s + waltzed into Bodo’s trap over + over again. They gave the ball away cheaply while leaving themselves completely wide open at the back. They had no leaders or anyone to take charge of the situation. But Darboe, Mayoral, Viller, Diawara, Kumbulla, Reynolds + Calafiori aren’t that poor compared to Bodo’s players. And if Jose think’s they are, then why didn’t he make a change in defence + bring Mancini + Vina on to shore them up + change the approach, when it was obvious that the defence was uncoordinated + wide open? He need’s to sort it out. They conceded 6 there, 3 vs Verona + 3 in the derby + even if you discount the derby (away) game then they’ve still lost 3 out of their last 4 on the road. He might live to regret some of his comment’s. Yeah, the young players were naive but so was he. It’s turned a match of little importance into a debacle.
