Alessandro Del Piero’s son Tobias found the net on his debut for the Getafe youth team and is following in the footsteps of his legendary father.

There is no lack of Italian Calcio dynasties to choose from, most famously the three generations of Maldini at Milan, while Federico Chiesa learned from Enrico and Riccardo Sottil plays in Serie A for Fiorentina with father Andrea currently the Udinese coach.

Del Piero’s oldest son Tobias was born in 2007 and is eager to get his playing career started, although there have been some issues getting him registered for Getafe’s youth team.

Tobias finally made his debut and promptly got his name on the scoresheet during a bizarre 8-4 result against Illescas.

His little brother Sasha also plays for Getafe’s youth academy, born in 2010.

Alessandro Del Piero just celebrated his 48th birthday last week and was in the squad that won the 2006 World Cup, scoring in the semi-final against Germany.

The striker had 478 Serie A appearances, scoring 188 goals and providing 110 assists.
