Milan director Adriano Galliani has written to FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio strenuously asking for goal-line technology to be introduced in Serie A.
Galliani's letter follows the heated debate after Adil Rami's ‘phantom goal’ was disallowed against Udinese on Sunday.
The Rossoneri are throwing their full weight into the question of whether Serie A should follow the Premier League's example and introduce goal-line technology.

The Rossoneri are throwing their full weight into the question of whether Serie A should follow the Premier League's example and introduce goal-line technology.
“I have no doubt that it is time for Serie A to equip itself with a technological system that allows for safe and accurate readings of episodes of this kind,” reads Galliani's letter.
“I already believed – and believe now ever more firmly – that the FIGC can no longer afford to delay moving in the same direction [as the Premier League].
“It is essential to help the referees in the evaluation of crucial instances and to prevent human error that is easily avoidable.”
Milan's joint-CEO Barbara Berlusconi already expressed solidarity with this message and confirmed that the club is in line with Galliani on the topic.
