“All of the favourites for the Champions League have more at their disposal than Inter,” the 48-year-old told Radio Sportiva.
“Inter now have to look to the future. It won’t be easy to rebuild, but they have to get back to the level that a team such as Inter should be competing at.”
Asked how the club should remodel the team, the former Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”7″>Sampdoria and Italian international stopper said work was needed in the transfer market.
“Inter’s future could be a team of youngsters mixed in with a few more experienced players,” he continued.
“Cycles in football come to an end and gratitude must remain, but the faces need to change…”
Inter have an eight-point deficit in Serie A to make up if they want to qualify for the Champions League again next season.
