Roma are hoping to replace Edin Dzeko with Tammy Abraham, and sporting director Tiago Pinto travels to London to discuss with the Chelsea striker.

The Giallorossi has given Dzeko the go ahead to join Inter this week, and the Bosnian will carry out his medical before signing a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri today.

The Athletic reports Tiago Pinto is expected in London within the next 48 hours to personally negotiate with Abraham.

Roma and Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement on a permanent move with a buy-back clause for the Blues, but the striker is not sure about moving to the Italian capital.

He has spoken directly to coach Jose Mourinho and Roma want an answer by the weekend, to have time to start looking elsewhere for Dzeko’s replacement at the Olimpico.

Tiago Pinto thus travels to the English capital hoping to convince the 23-year-old, capped six times by England so far.
