Roma director Tiago Pinto is in Milan and reportedly discussed Nicolò Zaniolo’s potential transfer with the Rossoneri and other possible sales, including Riccardo Calafiori, Justin Kluivert and Jordan Veretout.

The Giallorossi director held talks with Sassuolo and Davide Frattesi’s agent on Wednesday and seems to be focusing on departures today.

Sky Sport Italia reports Tiago Pinto met Rafaela Pimenta and Vincenzo Raiola in Milan today. They are the representative of Calafiori and Kluivert. The Italian defender should extend his contract with the Giallorossi before joining Salernitana on loan, while Marseille want the Dutch winger.

The Ligue 1 side have also set their sights on Jordan Veretout, according to Il Corriere dello Sport. The two clubs completed several deals in the past, with Marseille signing Pau Lopez and Cengiz Under a year ago.

As per Calciomercato.com, the France midfielder was also offered to Milan during a lunch meeting between Tiago Pinto and Ricky Massara. The Rossoneri finalised a deal to sign Alessandro Florenzi permanently and asked for information about Nicolò Zaniolo, but Roma are unwilling to sell for less than €50-60m.

The contract of the Italy star runs out in the summer of 2024 and Roma will soon meet his agent Claudio Vigorelli to see whether it’s possible to find an agreement over a contract extension.
