Roma play the Europa League Final against Sevilla tonight, but director Tiago Pinto refuses to confirm whether he or Jose Mourinho will remain at the club. ‘We can never guarantee what will happen in future.’

The match kicks off at the Puskas Arena in Budapest at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

It is the second consecutive UEFA Final for the Giallorossi after Mourinho took them to lift the Conference League last season.

Question marks remain over what next term holds, with both Mourinho and general manager Tiago Pinto said to be considering their options.

Speaking to Portuguese media, Tiago Pinto was asked if he would work with Mourinho again next year.

“Our work cannot be evaluated based only on the result of this Final. We still have a lot that we can do for this club. We also know that football reserves surprises and we can never 100 per cent guarantee what will happen in future, but on my part, my intention is to continue working together.”

Mourinho has above all been linked with a potential move to France for Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to replace Christophe Galtier.

Tiago Pinto has repeatedly shut down discussion in the media of whether he gets along with Mourinho or if they have fundamental disagreements on the squad.
