Inter are still waiting for Manchester United to make an improved formal offer for Andre Onana, which reports suggest could be on Thursday.

The negotiations continue to drag on and Manchester United want the deal done in time for the goalkeeper to be part of their pre-season tour from July 19.

According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia this evening, there have been verbal discussions about the increased proposal, but it has not been provided in writing.

Inter are standing firm behind their €60m asking price, but that does include add-ons and performance-related bonuses.

The most recent offer was believed to be circa €50m, so they are very close to meeting that target.

It is now going to be a matter of structuring the deal too, which could include a percentage of the sell-on fee.

Meanwhile, Onana has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United, just as Inter have lined up two replacements in Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin and Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer.
