Inter: Thuram drops Sommer transfer hint with Onana heading to Man Utd

New Inter striker Marcus Thuram fuels speculations of Yann Sommer’s move to the Stadio Meazza while André Onana is set to join Manchester United.

Thuram has recently joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach and commented on Sommer’s latest Instagram post on Friday afternoon. The France forward used eye emojis suggesting that a transfer may be just around the corner.

It is no secret that the Swiss keeper is Inter’s main target to replace Onana who is set to join Manchester United for €50m plus €5m add-ons.

The Cameroon international had dinner at a restaurant owned by vice president Javier Zanetti on Thursday night and transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano said it was the goalkeeper’s ‘last dinner’ as an Inter player.

The Champions League finalists are also planning to sign Anatoliy Trubin given that Samir Handanovic has left the club as well.

Thuram and Sommer played together for four years at Borussia Monchengladbach and are believed to be on excellent terms.
