Napoli could be ready to offer Rafa Benitez a new three-year deal, but reports say the Spaniard would have a number of conditions.

The Napoli Coach’s future has been subject to speculation of late, with the former Liverpool manager’s contract expiring in the summer and a new deal yet to be signed.

For his part, the tactician has said he is happy with life at Napoli, but has admitted to missing his family who are still in Liverpool.

Now Neapolitan newspaper Il Mattino reports that Napoli could be ready to tie Benitez to a long-term deal with the club.

The newspaper believes that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to offer 54-year-old a three year contract to remain on the San Paolo bench.

Benitez, however, would have a series of conditions which would have to be met before any such deal is signed, Il Mattino suggests.

The newspaper says that Benitez would demand greater control over the workings of the club, similar to the role he fulfilled at Liverpool.

This would include more control over transfers and scouting, as well as full control over the club’s sporting department.

Il Mattino states that Benitez will decide his future by the end of February, with De Laurentiis happy to give the Spanish Coach time to make his decision.
