Three players Milan could sell to increase transfer budget

According to multiple reports in Italy, Milan‘s transfer budget will be around €50-60m, but the Rossoneri hope to increase it by selling three players.

The recent takeover from RedBird hasn’t boosted the Rossoneri’s transfer budget for the summer as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will only be given €50-60m to strengthen the team for 2022-23.

According to Tuttosport, the Serie A champions are considering selling three players to increase the budget for the summer transfer window and bolster Stefano Pioli’s options next season.

The Rossoneri are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Fodé Ballo-Touré and hope to get at least €40m from their sales.

Milan need at least four new signings in the summer: one central defender, a central midfielder, an attacking midfielder and a right winger. However, they may go for another centre-forward if Rebic leaves during the summer transfer window.

Divock Origi is their first signing and will join the club on a free transfer from Liverpool. The Belgium international is expected to undergo his medical next week.
