Walter Mazzarri has received some good news from the Napoli training session today, recovering three important players.

The Partenopei returned to winning ways in dramatic style in their 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona last weekend, taking home all three points after an 87th minute wonder-goal from star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The result leaves Napoli four points behind fourth place Atalanta, putting the pressure on Mazzarri and his players as they look to secure Champions League qualification. In their first meeting with Milan this season, they secured a point in a tense 2-2 draw.

As announced by Napoli today, Piotr Zielinski, Mathias Olivera and Alex Meret all took part in the squad training session with Mazzarri today, joining their teammates in preparation for the coming league clash with Milan.

Olivera has been absent since last November with a knee injury, whilst Zielinski missed the win over Verona with muscle fatigue. Meret was out of action for the last four league games due to a hamstring problem.

The goalkeeper could start against Milan on Sunday, and for the other two it’s more likely that they’ll be left on the bench, possibly having a chance in the second half.
