Milan left San Siro on Sunday with zero points after losing to Napoli and now three of their key players are struggling with muscle problems.

The Rossoneri fell behind at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after Matteo Politano netted a penalty just before the hour mark, before Olivier Giroud netted an equaliser in the 69th minute. Milan couldn’t slow down the Partenopei, who continued pushing and eventually found a winner thanks to Giovanni Simeone, putting them in the driving seat in Serie A now.

As highlighted by Il Giornale, three Milan players are now dealing with muscle issues following their loss to Napoli. Davide Calabria was taken off at half time due to a strain, Theo Hernandez is struggling with an adductor injury and Sandro Tonali also complained of a muscle strain, although he’s still training with Italy in Coverciano for the time being.

Pioli is hoping to recover all three ahead of their next Serie A clash against Empoli on October 1.

What a load of rubbish. They scored completely against the run of play.
