Genoa winger Diego Perotti has been handed a three-match ban after his red card against Bologna.
The 27-year-old was dismissed for lashing out with an elbow at Amadou Diawara during the course of the Grifone’s 1-0 defeat.
The Lega Serie A has slapped Perotti with a three-match ban for having “struck an opponent in the face with a violent elbow”.
Jasmin Kurtic of Atalanta has been given a one-match ban for his red card, but was also given an official warning for sarcastically applauding the referee.
