Three strikers but just one shot on target for Italy at EURO 2024

Scamacca started the first two matches against Albania and Spain but was benched against Croatia, making room for Retegui and Raspadori.

Scamacca has played 162 minutes at EURO 2024 against Retegui’s 123 and Raspadori’s 83.

The Azzurri meet Switzerland in the Round of 16 on Saturday, June 29, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Spalletti is considering a few changes to the starting XI that secured a draw with Croatia, and multiple sources claim Scamacca is the favourite to start against the Swiss tomorrow.

Spalletti will hold a pre-match press conference on Friday evening and captain Gigio Donnarumma will join the CT.
