Simone Inzaghi will have almost his entire squad of Inter players available for Tuesday evening’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash against Atletico Madrid, barring one injury and two players who have been removed from the Nerazzurri’s European list.
The most notable absentee will be centre-back Francesco Acerbi, who also missed Inter’s 4-0 victory over Salernitana in Serie A with a muscle strain.
The 36-year-old will continue to be assessed, but it is understood that he will not be risked if there are any possible doubts, as Inter also have an important run of league fixtures against Lecce and Atalanta over the course of the next week.
The only other unavailable players for Inter will be Juan Cuadrado and Stefano Sensi, who were both removed from the Champions League squad list during the winter period.
Inter did add their only January acquisition Tajon Buchanan to their Champions League squad list at the beginning of February and he could make his first appearance in the competition for the Nerazzurri. Matteo Darmian is currently tipped to start at right wing-back, however.
