Atalanta are reportedly intensifying negotiations with Sampdoria for Morten Thorsby, with Michel Aebischer as his replacement from Young Boys.
According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the talks are progressing for Norway international Thorsby and a deal could be struck at circa €6m.
Samp are now prepared to let Thorsby leave because they have seemingly found a replacement.
That is in the form of Aebischer, whose contract with Swiss side Young Boys is due to expire in June 2023.
The 24-year-old Swiss international is available for circa €3m and has three caps for his country at senior level.
