Erick Thohir will reportedly meet Massimo Moratti this week to discuss Inter’s financial future.

The Indonesian businessman is currently in Europe, and is meeting with Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow ahead of their Champions League tie with Chelsea.

The Nerazzurri President is thought to be seeking new investment, facilitated by banking giant Goldman Sachs.

Former Inter chief Massimo Moratti retains a minority stake in the club, having sold 30 per cent to Thohir in 2013, and will have to be consulted on any future sale of shares.

SportMediaset reports that Moratti approves of the idea of finding new investors in China, but doesn’t want to sell his remaining shares.

Thohir will therefore meet with his predecessor this week to determine the best way to move forward.

In addition, Thohir is set to meet with Silvio and Barbara Berlusconi on Thursday to discuss improvements to San Siro.

Finally, the President will chair a board meeting on February 25.
