Inter President Erick Thohir has officially sold his shares in American club DC United.
Thohir spent six years as the general partner of DC United, alongside Swansea City shareholder Jason Levien, owning 78 percent of the club.
However, his majority stake has since been taken on by Levien, resulting in his exit from the MLS outfit.

“It has been an honor to have been a part of D.C. United during such a critical time for the Club, to have supported the efforts to build Audi Field, and to have such a close partner in Jason,” he told the side’s official website.
“I am confident with the organization in the hands of Jason Levien and his new partners. I look forward to supporting D.C. United as it thrives in the years ahead.”
The Indonesian magnate still retains 31% of Inter, although he gave up control of the Nerazzurri to Suning Group in 2016.
