Inter President Erick Thohir is pleased with the arrival of Antonio Candreva but wants to discuss Mauro Icardi’s future.
The Nerazzurri chief was first asked about club captain Icardi, who has been heavily linked with a move to Napoli.
“He is our captain, we want to continue working with him,” Thohir told Gazzetta dello Sport. “It’s what we have to talk about, because we are a family and we have to talk about it.”

The Indonesian businessman then admitted there is a need to strengthen the squad but praised the acquisition of Candreva as proof that Inter give opportunities to Italian players.
“I think we have to strengthen the team. As you know we have signed Candreva and finally the people are happy by the fact Inter believe in Italian players.
“Candreva is a player we needed, we think he’ll be an important addition.”
