Daniel Maldini has made his Serie A debut, the son of Paolo and grandson of Cesare marking the third generation of the family to play for Milan.
The 18-year-old creative midfielder came off the bench during stoppages in today’s 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona.
Born on October 11, 2001, Daniel is the youngest son of former Rossoneri captain and current club director Paolo.
He has an older brother, Christian, who is currently playing for Serie C side Pro Sesto.

Paolo Maldini made his debut for Milan at the age of 16 years and six months, during the 1-1 draw away to Udinese on January 20, 1985.
He went on to represent the club on 901 occasions, scoring 33 goals, until his retirement in June 2009.
As for Paolo’s father Cesare, he represented the Rossoneri as both player and coach, becoming the first Milan captain to lift the European Cup.
His debut in Serie A was for Triestina in May 1953, but his first of 386 appearances in a Milan jersey was during the 4-0 win over Triestina on September 19, 1954.
Cesare Maldini died on April 3, 2016, at the age of 84.
