The winds of change have blown over the Italian capital following Roma’s 6-1 loss to Bodø/Glimt back in October, a positive sign for Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of their Conference League clash.

There’s no way to hide from the fact that the Giallorossi’s shocking collapse against the Norwegian side earlier in the season bitterly hurt both the Portuguese coach and his players. It was a worrying sign only months into Mourinho’s reign in Rome and it could have been the point where things went south, but the former Chelsea coach has done well to right the ship.

Since that loss, Roma have started to build that killer mentality that Mourinho called for. They have scored seven goals after the 90th minute across all competitions so far this season, the most out of any Serie A team. The Roman side’s mindset is strengthening and the team now looked fired up, even if sometimes some inconsistent performances still creep in.

Roma have been in strong form in 2022, remaining undefeated in their last eight consecutive league outings. The team are significantly stronger than they were when Bodø/Glimt shipped home six in front of their fans and they’ll be feeling confident ahead of their Europa Conference League quarter-final clash.

  1. They’re already here, might as well go ahead and win it. I am pretty sure Jose would fancy himself as the first one to win this trophy, and they have the squad to do so.

  2. Bodo very difficult to beat. They are physically fit and mentally they want to win every single match.
