Hellas Verona striker Fabio Borini has picked up a minor left thigh strain, so is expected to be out of action for a couple of weeks.
The 28-year-old joined Verona from Milan in January and made a strong impact, scoring two goals in six Serie A games for his new club.
A statement from Hellas confirmed Borini has been diagnosed with a Grade I lesion to the back of his left thigh.
It’s not confirmed how long this will keep him out for, but this type of injury usually requires a couple of weeks on the sidelines.

This is a problem for coach Ivan Juric, as he is already missing injured forwards Samuel Di Carmone and Giampaolo Pazzini, while Eddie Salcedo is still recovering from a long lay-off.
Only Mariusz Stepinski is fully fit among their strikers.
