“It is very flattering and positive that people talk about me. It make me proud and I feel happy,” the former Genoa boss told RMC Sport.
“I am happy to have the recognition of the supporters of a club where I have spent the majority of my career.
“I hope one day I can repay the confidence they gave me," the added.
“I like attacking football but in order to produce attacking football, you have to be dynamic, occupy the spaces well and attack, you have to take risks.
“To bring dynamism to football, you have to recover the ball back quickly. It's when you have the ball that you can choose what to do.
“I think that a team like Paris Saint-Germain, it's compatible with that.”
