Thiago Motta continues to keep everyone guessing on his future at Bologna, with interest from Juventus, Milan, PSG and Barcelona. ‘It is an internal matter.’
The coach has impressed at the Stadio Dall’Ara, keeping his team in the running for a top four finish after draws with Inter, Juventus and Milan.
He had also been approached by Napoli to take over from Luciano Spalletti last summer, but President Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed his heart was set elsewhere.
Bologna continue to negotiate a potential new contract to extend Thiago Motta’s stay beyond June 30, although most are confident he will seek a new and more prestigious challenge.
“It is an internal matter, as soon as there is news, you will hear it, but right now we need to focus on the Lecce game,” replied the coach in his press conference.
“We are concentrated on every individual match, that is our duty and responsibility.”
