As Juventus scraped just one point from three games this season and Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice on his Manchester United debut, supporters clashed over how much influence CR7 really has at club level.
At the same time, Ronaldo made his ‘debut’ for Manchester United in this afternoon’s Premier League match with Newcastle United, finding the net twice in the 4-1 victory.
Somewhat inevitably, these two events within hours of each other revived the online debate about how much Ronaldo had brought to the Juve side over the last three years.
It comes after many Bianconeri supporters had said they were pleased the Portugal international was moving on, as in theory his departure would allow Juventus to play more as a collective and less to provide service for the Capocannoniere.

I hope all the Juventus fans realize the problem is within their team and Ronaldo was literally bailing them out all this time.

Real Madrid and Juventus fans never really loved Ronaldo the way Man United fans do. It’s a marriage made in heaven, until winter comes.
