There have been plenty of reactions to Christian Pulisic’s first goal for Milan on his Serie A debut, including many fans trolling Chelsea for letting the USMNT go in the summer.

Pulisic started his Milan career in the best possible way, scoring on his Serie A debut in a 2-0 away win at the Stadio Dall’Ara against Bologna on Monday.

The USMNT international joined the Rossoneri in a €20m deal from Chelsea in July and is already playing a key role at the Stadio Meazza.

On the other hand, Chelsea have been struggling under new coach Mauricio Pochettino, having collected just one point in their first two Premier League matches.

Thousands of fans commented on Pulisic’s performance and goal against Milan trolling Chelsea for letting him leave for a relatively low fee.

Many highlight how the Premier League side signed Mykhaylo Mudryk for €100m in January. The 22-year-old was supposed to be an upgrade to Pulisic but has yet to leave his mark at Stamford Bridge having yet to score his first goal in 19 appearances with the club.

  1. Isn’t this what Milan themselves did to CDK? He barely played last year. Gets shoved over to Atalanta where he scores in the opener and his obvious talent stood out.

Notice, Gasperini, unlike Pioli, actually played CDK in his proper position. He didn’t try to fit a square peg into a round hole. Who would have thunk it?
