Zoe Cristofoli, the partner of Milan star Theo Hernandez, opened up about the recent robbery suffered by the pair last week.

Italian news agency ANSA reported last week that a group of four hooded and armed burglars broke into the pair’s house whilst Cristofoli was at home with her six-month-old son, a nanny and a cook. She was threatened at gunpoint and forced to show them the location of their safe, which they looted before making their getaway. The incident is still being investigated by the police.

Writing on Instagram stories, Cristofoli opened up about the incident and underlined the fear she still feels.

“My mind is not 100% here, but I would like everything to go back to normal because it’s right. I would like to go back to doing things as I have always done with my peace of mind.

“I wanted to say two things: the first is thank you to all the people who understood the seriousness of the situation and wrote to me, my friends who understood the moment.

“Thanks also to the police, to those who cared for us.”

She then revealed that the incident was far more serious than initially reported and thanked people for their support in this difficult time.

“The newspapers wrote little about what happened, it was much worse. To date I’m fine, I don’t have anything broken or fractured, to make you understand the seriousness. Thanks to those who were with me at the time because if I had been alone I probably wouldn’t be here today.

“I think about it every moment, but when I see my son and the people who were with me and love me I feel better, I try to talk, not to close myself off because it’s not good.

“I have a fantastic family, a fantastic boy, everyone loves me, I couldn’t want anything more. I just want justice for what they did to us.”

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening last week, when Theo Hernandez was away with his Milan teammates. The player was horrified by the incident and also received support from the Rossoneri staff.
