Theo Hernandez remains in doubt for Milan ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Napoli, as he has flu symptoms.

It kicks off at San Siro on Sunday at 19.45 GMT and represents second against fourth in the Serie A table.

According to the latest reports, Theo Hernandez only worked in the gym today and is therefore not yet back in full training with the rest of his teammates.

This is still an improvement, though, considering he had been absent entirely yesterday, left at home with flu symptoms.

His temperature is going down and the France international full-back was able to work individually in the gym at the Milanello training centre today.

It remains to be seen if Theo Hernandez will be declared fit to start on Sunday, as much depends on whether he is able to return to training tomorrow.

Milan are already missing Davide Calabria, Rafael Leao, Pietro Pellegri, Ante Rebic, Simon Kjaer and Alessandro Plizzari.

Olivier Giroud seems as if he will be able to return and sit on the bench.
