Milan and France left-back Theo Hernandez claims Les Blues ‘do not fear’ Leo Messi although Argentina are ‘an incredible team.’

The Rossoneri star helped France secure a 2-0 win over Morocco on Wednesday, booking a place in the World Cup Final for the second time in a row. It will be the first one for the former Real Madrid starlet who was not part of the France squad at Russia 2018.

“Now we must think about the Final, I am tired but it’s so good to win a World Cup semi-final,” Theo told Gazzetta.

“Now we must recover for Sunday, we are not scared of Messi, but Argentina are an incredible team and we have a few days to work.”

Messi has contributed to eight of Argentina’s 12 goals at the World Cup and will play the Final for the second time in his career.

No country has reached the World Cup Final more times than France in the last 24 years. Les Blues won it in 1998 and in 2018 and lost in 2006 against Marcello Lippi’s Italy.
