Theo could have been banned as it happened to Neymar and Dele Alli in the past.

Neymar received a three-match ban from UEFA in 2019 after he insulted referee Damir Skomina on social media.

The official hadn’t awarded PSG a penalty kick in the Champions League meeting with Manchester United.

Alli was suspended for one game in June 2020 for posting a mocking social media post about COVID.

Theo Hernandez’s teammate Ante Rebic received a two-match ban for insulting the referee. He had seen the red card in the final minutes of the Napoli tie.

Until today, there are no cases of players suspended in Serie A for their activities on social media.
