According to Sky Sport Italia, Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz are still positive for COVID-19, so won’t feature for Milan this weekend against Bologna.

Theo Hernandez contracted the virus while on international duty with France, in the same squad as Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

He tested positive on October 13, while Brahim Diaz posted a positive result for the coronavirus on October 15.

According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia, today the two players were tested again and still came back positive.

It is believed that both players are fully vaccinated, but the vaccine makes it less likely you will have a serious illness, it does not have a 100 per cent efficiency rate on preventing infection.

There is good news for Ante Rebic, who went off during the win over Hellas Verona with a sprained ankle, forcing him to miss the Champions League trip to FC Porto.

He is improving and could potentially be on the bench on Saturday against Bologna, but it remains to be seen if Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be given his first start of the season.
