Theo Hernandez has reportedly rejected numerous offers from top European clubs in order to extend his contract at Milan by five years.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, the deal has now been completed and will be announced over the next few days.

It was already known that negotiations were at a very advanced stage to improve his contract, which currently runs to June 2024.

His salary is expected to go from €1.5m per season to €4.5m including various bonuses.

The left-back was relatively unknown when he joined the Rossoneri from Real Madrid for €21.5m in the summer of 2019.

He was personally scouted by Milan director and legendary defender Paolo Maldini, who Theo Hernandez credited for this move.

Since flourishing at San Siro, Theo Hernandez earned his debut for France at senior level and now has one goal in four caps.

He attracted interest from numerous clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
