Now that Vincenzo Italiano’s contract renewal has been agreed, Fiorentina are pushing to close out a deal with Real Madrid for Luka Jovic.

The 24-year-old Serbian forward did not have a good season in Spain under Carlo Ancelotti, scoring only one goal in 15 La Liga appearances in the campaign just gone. Things have been difficult for Jovic following his arrival at Los Blancos and he’s reportedly keen on moving away to try and relaunch his career again.

As detailed by TuttoMercatoWeb, Fiorentina are now working hard to find an agreement with Real Madrid for Jovic, paying the deal full focus following the recent agreement with Italiano.

The Viola hope to close out a deal in the next 48 hours or so and it seems as if the two clubs will split the Serbian forward’s €5m net per season salary, a similar agreement to the one that brought Alvaro Odriozola to Florence a year ago.
