Juventus and Inter are the two highest scoring clubs at the Euros this summer, as the Bianconeri and Atalanta also equalled the record of different goalscorers in the competition.
Italy picked up the European Championship with a win on penalties over England this summer, when Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw, adding to the Old Lady’s record in the competition.
He then helped Juventus match the all-time record of five different goalscorers in the same competition, a feat matched by Atalanta already before the Final.
Sky Sport Italia points out that Serie A had a great Euros, starting with two goals from Sassuolo, Sampdoria, Napoli and Lazio players.
Manuel Locatelli, Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne and Mikkel Damsgaard helped lift the Serie A record during the competition, whilst Atalanta continued their goal fest in international football too, with seven goals coming from the Orobici stars this summer.
La Dea were the first side to have five different goalscorers since Real madrid in 2012, a record that also belonged to Anderlecht from 1984 and Barcelona in 2000.
Two other clubs eventually joined the list this summer, as Bonucci was the fifth Juventus goalscorer in the Final, matched by Manchester City when Ukraine star Oleksandr Zinchenko scored in the 2-1 win over Sweden.
Juventus top the list of most goals at UEFA Euro 2020, four goals ahead of Inter and Manchester City, who are tied for second.
