The Italian tactician and Spurs officially parted ways by mutual agreement on Sunday night.
He won 41 of his 76 games in charge of the North Londoners, leading them to a top-four finish in his first season at the club.
He was appointed by Tottenham in November 2021, signing an 18-month contract.
Tottenham were eliminated from domestic cups and the Champions League Round of 16 at the hands of Milan this season and are currently in the top four in the Premier League table.
His assistant Cristian Stellini has been appointed as an interim coach alongside club legend Ryan Mason until the end of the season.
