Reports in Thailand claim investor Bee Taechaubol has submitted a bid for a controlling stake in Milan.

The property tycoon’s interest was first mooted in December, with Taechaubol saying while that he couldn’t afford to buy the Rossoneri outright, he hinted at the possibility of investing.

Now the Bangkok Post reports that the businessman has made an offer of €1 billion to take over a majority stake in the club.

Now the Bangkok Post reports that the businessman has made an offer of €1 billion to take over a majority stake in the club.

The newspaper reports that Taechaubol has said he wants to buy a stake of over 50 per cent, but is not bidding for complete control of the Diavolo.

It’s believed that a deal could be completed this month, according to Thai media.
