Inter and PSG resume the chase for Carlos Tevez, but his agent confirms “conversations between Milan and Manchester City are not over yet.”

The matter came to a head on Thursday when the Rossoneri sensationally pulled out of the deal after Alexandre Pato turned down a €35m move to Paris Saint-Germain.

This has prompted both Inter and the French side to get back into the €30m race for Tevez, but agent Kia Joorabchian reveals the situation is still up in the air.

“Carlitos owes a huge debt of gratitude to Corinthians, but they have to accept the fact he will play for Milan,” he told Brazilian media.

“The conversations between Milan and Manchester City are not over yet. There will be more meetings. We’ve all still got to wait, wait, wait…”

Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani left England on Thursday evening, having failed to broker a deal following the Pato pull-out.

However, it’s reported Milan are counting on Tevez to dig his heels in by refusing all other transfers until the final days of the window.

At that point, Manchester City would be fairly desperate to be rid of the troubled striker and accept the loan offer with an option to buy.

It is also reported that Tevez is prepared to accept a 40 per cent wage cut in order to join Milan.
